Assume the best

Assume the best. Assume the best. Assume the best. Assume the best. Assume the best. Assume the best. Assume the best. Assume the best. Assume the best Assume the best.

It is so easy to create all kind of stories based on other peoples reactions, judgement, comments and if we allow ourselves to disconnect with who we truly are then we can assume the worst and allow these to affect us negatively. But if we stay true to our soul, to that deep inner knowing of our true self then these reactions, judgements and comments are like, "water off a duck's back", they just roll right off. We can then assume the best of every situation because we have been acting from a place of authenticity, courage and honesty and that's all anyone can really ask for!

But when we do get that chance to communicate wouldn't it be beautiful and much more simple if instead of running away we would speak openly and honestly from that vulnerable place in our heart. Then while receiving conversation we listened attentively and took nothing personally. Let the practice continue!

Advice from a wide range of business professoinals

If you were to share advice with others what would it be?

1)      Read regularly. Close the gap by seeking knowledge.
2)      Invest in yourself.
3)      Do more for others than you do for yourself.
4)      Treat others how you want to be treated
5)      Work hard
6)       What people think of you is none of your business. Don’t live to please others, don't let them ripple your pond.. If you are living your truth some people are not going to like you and that’s ok!
7)      Be nice to everyone because you never know where you will run into them in the future
8)      Value your staff and build a culture they want to be a part of .
9)      Think long term/Act short term. Think globally, act locally.
10)   Have 1 day a week that is dedicated to your family and local community, ex. Shabbat in Jewish tradition.
11)   Listen/think before speaking. Take care of others, lift them up.
12)   Focus on the positives
13)   Take care of yourself first. The idea of you need to apply the oxygen mask to yourself first before you can assist others.
14)   Balance
15)   Keep work and family life separate
16)   Love your family
17)   Equanimity. If you have a bad day at work don’t bring it home
18)   Don’t wait for things to happen, take action!
19)   Consider what you are doing and is it really that important or urgent?
20)   Don’t always live for tomorrow. Focus on what is! Enjoy what you are doing as things can change very quickly.
21)   Think about what are memories made of...then live that!
22)   Love fully. Whether it is a day or a month. What does it look like to give all your heart?
23)   Know and love yourself. What is it to sit comfortably in your own skin?
24)   Welcome competition
25)   Be Patient. This too shall pass.

A thing to remember

"May I hold myself in compassion, May I meet the suffering and ignorance of others with compassion"

It's important to remember that each and every person experiences internal struggles just as I do. Each person has a life as rich and detailed as my own. Each person is doing the best they can with what they have been given. Remembering these points reminds me that there not be the need to judge another or reticule another for their decisions. All is working out for our highest good whether we can comprehend it or not!

Ease

She moves with ease as if there is 6 inches between her and the ground at all time. Her every move is  supported by an all knowing unknowing. She is a evangelical being effortlessly flowing through this life. She is constantly laughing as she notices just how perfect everything is, always has been and will always continue to be. The sorrow, the pain, the joy; she feels everything with heightened sensitivity as these feelings connect her to a cosmic being far beyond that of terrestrial nature. And when the energy of the day passes and the night sky comes to play she will be dancing a majestic waltz with the moonlight. She is a bright light, always leading with her heart open.

Arctic Watch Free Write - Raw and Unedited

These are just a couple of paragraphs of my free writing journal sessions at Artic Watch. Where ever I go I keep my journal close and I just write whatever pops into my mind with no judgement.  I am just a vessel to translate what I see before me and these were the feelings I was getting in the Arctic...what a special place!

…“I am feeling ignited upon arrival at Arctic Watch. The running water, the blowing wind, the ecosystem is in balance, at peace. It’s easy to let go here as the beautiful Arctic landscapes support me in every way possible. I flow through this life with ease, enjoying the sights before me. Overlooking the Northwest Passage did I ever believe I would find myself in such a place? I am full of love for all which surrounds me and the landscape which provides this sense of bliss for me. I am honoured to be a part of this world, honoured to be witness to such beauty, honoured for this land to really teach me how to open my heart. Once our hearts are open, our minds can truly open. Open to learn, to listen, to receive and react authentically.”…

… “Grounded with my feet on this earth I feel connected. I sink my roots into the core and release any concern that once may have been blocking my ability to live fully in the present moment. As these concern leave me they get shape shifted into blessings. Blessings that only serve my highest good"…..

…… "I am loved by a presence far greater than what exists or is seen in this world. I am loved for all eternity as I am energy & love is energy, therefore I AM LOVE. It is not something that I have or feel but yet something I am. I am composed of love, made from love. Why we can’t define love is because we cannot define this life, this universe, this time right now. I am uncontained love, I failed to realize this before and therefore found myself imbalanced and injured. I now have an all knowing understanding that I am LOVE!”

The Lost Woman

Behind this woman is a wall of pain
Fear, guilt, regret and shame

For though she appears a happy face
Deep within she feels disgrace

Her soul is trapped, it can't escape
All she wants is to feel safe

This is a woman who has lost herself
Her dreams remain high upon a shelf

For oh so long they have been out of reach
But it's time she now makes a speech...

"To all lost women, look deep within Speak your mind dont be worried of sin Clean off your hands and we will grasp A desired life with no questions asked"

Memories

Time passes by and words fade but feelings remain.
Feelings carve a deep blueprint into our mind
Feelings take us back to a specific moment in time
Feelings are what we live for
To feel is to be free
To feel is to take risks
To feel is to open the door to your heart
To feel is to love
And to love is to connect to the infinite,
Creating timeless memories!
